Do I need a credit card for the free plan?
No. No card required, ever.
What counts as one run?
A run is one completed MergeLoom AI job that produces a PR or MR in your code host.
Where does MergeLoom run?
On your own infrastructure. The worker handles code checkout, context assembly, AI execution, tests, validation, and PR or MR creation.
Which tools do you support?
MergeLoom supports Jira, GitHub Issues, GitLab Issues, monday.dev, Linear, Azure Boards, GitHub, GitLab, Azure Repos, and major AI providers or compatible endpoints.
Can we use our own AI provider?
Yes. MergeLoom is built to work with your approved AI provider or an OpenAI-compatible private endpoint that supports the required tool calls.
What happens if validation fails?
MergeLoom can retry, repair the change, or mark the job as blocked depending on your workflow rules.
Does MergeLoom replace code review?
No. It creates PRs and MRs with checks attached for human review. Your team still controls merge and release.
Can we control what tickets it works on?
Yes. MergeLoom uses labels, statuses, comments, and workflow rules so only approved work is picked up.
Can it work with our existing workflow?
Yes. Your project management workflow does not need to change. MergeLoom reads labels, comments, statuses, and intake rules.
